The Joseph Heil Company, Inc. has come up with a unique way of replacing underground water lines. Mr. Joseph Heil came up with a technique called the Pullzit, where we can dig a hole (usually out near the sidewalk or street, this is where the county connection is) at the county connection and insert a cable through the broken water line and as we pull the cable through the old line our special tool will split the old line and pull the new copper water line into where the existing broken line was. This is a technique that does not require digging a trench from the house all the way out to the street, If your water line runs under the driveway or your favorite tree, we can pull under them without disturbing them.

We have called Miss Utility and are ready to begin replacing the main water line to the house.

-
We have dug down to the county connection.
-
-
Inside the house, we have removed the concrete around the pipe which will allow the new copper to slide through the existing plastic pipe.

-
When digging in your yard, we try to keep the disturbed area as small as possible.

In this picture, we are just beginning to remove the old polybutylene water service line.

Now, we are pulling the old line out of the ground with the new copper tubing behind it.

This is type K copper, which is the thickest copper tubing made. There are lower grades of copper available, however we do not use them underground because they do not hold up as well.

This is a picture of the ground after we put all the dirt back in the hole.
